2019 Memorial Motorcycle Ride Information

Who & What

Their radios may be silent, but the memories of 30 Arizona Department of Public Safety officers who lost their lives during the performance of their sworn duties. 


Those memories will be honored during a multi-day motorcycle ride during 2019 throughout Arizona and coordinated by the Arizona Fallen Hero Memorial Riders Concerns of Police Survivors - Arizona 

  

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RIDE A MOTORCYCLE TO GET INVOLVED!!!


You can volunteer to assist with the many activities of our events. Please see the information below for additional information about volunteering. 


You can drive a car/truck and follow the riders or you can join us for one or all three of our catered by Matt's Classic Dog's barbecues.

This is A Charity Motorcycle Ride Benefitting Concerns of Police Survivors, Arizona (C.O.P.S. - AZ)

All money raised during this memorial ride will be donated to C.O.P.S - AZ, a 501(c)(3) organization who provides long term care to the families of our fallen police officers.  

When

The first ride of the memorial ride will occur on September 21, 2019, and will encompass a ride throughout northern Arizona. For our northern ride, we will have starting locations in: 

  

  • Interstate 40 - To be determined
  • Kingman - Arizona Department of Public Safety Office
  • Page - To be determined
  • Prescott - Arizona Department of Public Safety Office 
  • White Mountains - Hon-Dah Resort and Casino (our host hotel for the White Mountains)


Check-in and last minute registration will occur on September 20th and 21st, 2019 (location to be determined) in Prescott. At the conclusion of the ride, we will be hosting a catered  barbecue in the Flagstaff area.  


The second ride will be held on October 19, 2019 and will encompass a ride throughout southern Arizona. For our southern ride we will have starting locations in:


  • Benson - To be determined
  • Tucson - Arizona Department of Public Safety Office
  • Yuma - Arizona Department of Public Safety Office

Check-in and last minute registration will occur on October 18th and 19th at the Desert Diamond Hotel and Casino in Tucson. At the conclusion of the ride, we will be hosting a catered barbecue in the Tucson area. 


The last ride will occur on November 2, 2019, and encompass a ride throughout the central portion of Arizona. For our central ride we will have starting locations in:

  • Anthem - To be determined
  • Phoenix - To be determined
  • Sacaton Rest Area - Westbound Interstate 10 at milepost 182
  • State Route 87 - To be determined

Check-in and last minute registration will occur on November 1st and 2nd (location to be determined) in the Phoenix, Area. At the conclusion of the ride, we will be hosting a barbecue in the Phoenix area.  

Cost and Fees - One Paid Ride Fee Allows Entry Into All Three Rides & Barbecues

**PLEASE NOTE** - Registration fees and/or barbecue entry fees are non-refundable. 


Early Registration begins on February 1, 2019 - 


Registration from February 1 through July 31 


$25 - Single rider (includes T-Shirt, "Goodie Bag and Catered Barbecue)

$40 - Rider and passenger (includes T-Shirts, "Goodie Bags, and Catered Barbecue)  


Late Registration - August 1 through August 31 -  


$35  - Single rider (includes T-Shirt, "Goodie Bag" and Catered Barbecue 

$50 - Rider and Passenger (includes T-Shirts, "Goodie Bags, and Catered Barbecue)


Last Minute Registration - September 1 and After

T-SHIRTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO BE AVAILABLE FOR REGISTRATIONS AFTER AUGUST 31, 2019


$45 - Single Rider (includes Catered Barbecue)

$60 - Rider and Passenger (includes Catered Barbecue)

The Arizona Fallen Hero Memorial Riders Committee and C.O.P.S.-AZ reserves the right to make final approval of all rider and passenger registrations. 


Not registered as a rider or passenger,  you can join us and enjoy our catered barbecue for $15 per person, payable at the barbecue.


Don’t Ride a motorcycle? The ride dates conflict with your schedule?

You cannot physically attend the event(s)? However, you still want to support this honorable event?

  

We have made it easy for you to still be able to get involved and support the Arizona Fallen Hero Memorial Riders and Concerns of Police Survivors, Arizona. All you have to do is complete the Ghost Rider registration form, give a donation of your choosing and submit the registration form and donation on line. If you agree, we will proudly place your name on the Ghost Rider banner, which will be on display at our check-in/registrations prior to each ride and at all barbecues.
